Five Joplin businesses sell alcohol to minors during enforcement operation

As part of ongoing youth alcohol enforcement, The Joplin Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks at several local businesses on July 3rd, using an underage volunteer.

Twenty-one establishments were checked and five sold alcohol to a minor when presented identification showing the buyer being under age. The results follow:
