Seneca Police Department makes drug arrests, arrests made on Joplin, Neosho warrants

On 6/25/19, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Frisco/Strait for multiple equipment violations. The male driver was arrested for DWS and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 6/22/19, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Osage for an equipment violation. The female driver, Charlana Kelly had a warrant out of Jasper County for: Fraud.

On 6/22/19, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at the intersection of Cherokee/Wyandotte for an equipment violation.

The female driver was arrested for DWS. One male passenger, William Graves, was arrested on 3 warrants. Two warrants were out of Neosho for: FTA No Insurance and Fail to Register Motor Vehicle. 








One warrant was out of Joplin for: FTA Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The other male occupant was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance. All three subjects were transported to Newton County Jail.

On 6/15/19, Officer Housley made a traffic stop on Delaware for a moving violation. After a brief investigation it was apparent the occupants were under the influence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle was conducted. Both occupants were arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Controlled Substance.
