MoDOT, Southwest District – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, at its meeting today (Wednesday, October 2) in Eminence, awarded several road/bridge projects to construction companies, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Here are the details:
-Missouri Route 18 at the South Grand River west of Clinton: Bridge Rehabilitation
Awarded to Capital Paving & Construction, LLC of Columbia, for a low bid amount of $2.6 million
Project is part of Governor Parson’s Focus on Bridges initiative
-Jasper County Route U at the Spring River north of La Russell: Bridge Rehabilitation
Awarded to Phillips Hardy, Inc. of Boonville, for a low bid amount of $747,000
Project is part of Governor Parson’s Focus on Bridges initiative
These bridges are included in Gov. Parson’s “Focus on Bridges” program passed by the Missouri General Assembly during its 2019 session. The program appropriated $50 million in state general revenue to fund 45 high priority bridge projects throughout the state.

Awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC of Van Buren, for a low bid amount of $12 million
Project is a partnership with the City of Marshfield
-Webster County Route CC at Banning Street and Buffalo Street in Marshfield: New Roundabout and Resurfacing
Awarded to APAC-Central, Inc. of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $1.8 million
Project is a partnership with the City of Marshfield
-Missouri Route 7 between Vansant Street in Clinton and Route PP in Tightwad: Resurfacing and New Guardrail
Awarded to Capital Paving & Construction, LLC of Columbia, for a low bid amount of $2 million
-Greene/Webster County Route D, Webster/Douglas County Route Z and Webster County Route KK: Resurfacing
Awarded to Leo Journagan Construction, Inc. of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $1.9 million
-Newton County Route CC, Jasper County Route H, Jasper County Route M and Jasper County Route MM: Resurfacing
Awarded to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. of Columbia, for a low bid amount of $2.2 million
