Suspects in manhunt still at large, Jasper Police to escort school bus Thursday morning

Two suspects who are the subject of a manhunt by Barton County Sheriff's Office and the Highway Patrol in the area of MO 126 west of I-49 are still at large, according to the following news release posted by the Jasper Police Department.

The suspects were not located. Even though it is possible they found a ride out of the area, it is also possible they are still hunkered down in the area.

We’ll always error on the side of caution when it comes to our school and the safety of the kids.

Jasper PD will be escorting the bus taking this route. Bright and early we’ll have an officer there and trailing a bus that picks up children in the below mentioned area.
