Wentworth woman, Pierce City man injured in two-vehicle collision

A Wentworth woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 3:50 p.m. today on Lawrence County Road 2220, a mile and a half east of Pierce City.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1996 Jeep Cherokee driven by Ella C. Dyer, 64, Wentworth, failed to yield to a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker driven by Trevor K. Jordan, 22, Pierce City, and pulled into its path.

Dyer was treated for moderate injuries and Jordan for minor injuries at Cox Monett Hospital.
