Our Tuesday introduction is Sgt. William Davis. Sgt. Davis has been with JPD for 13 years and is from Baxter Springs, KS.

When asked what he wants the public to know about his job Sgt. Davis responded with “It is an honor to be an officer of the Joplin Police Department. I specifically get the privilege of supervising a great group of officers who make it their mission to go out on each shift to be proactive in detecting and deterring criminal activity and providing the highest level of policing services to the citizens of Joplin and the visitors of our community.
"My goal is to ensure they are prepared, well trained and have the tools and resources to go out and make a positive impact in their duties.”
In his off-time Sgt. Davis enjoys spending time with his wife and children and choreographing pyromusicals.
Thank you for sharing Sgt. Davis.
