According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Honda Pilot driven by Desiree R. Ballard, 28, Neosho, began to skid on a gravel roadway, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree and returned to the roadway. Ballard was ejected from the vehicle.
Ballard, who was also cited for careless and imprudent driving involving a crash, no seat belt and no insurance, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
