Reeds man injured in collision on 96

A Reeds man was injured in a two-vehicle collision 11:10 p.m. Thursday on MO 96, four miles east of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Ford Expedition driven by Makayla J. Spaugy, 19, Joplin, pulled out in front of a 2005 Triumph Rocket 3 driven by Robert L. Downing, 47, Reeds, which struck the Spaugy vehicle in the side.

Downing was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
