This post is really for the Deerfield development area, but good information for some others.
We have a current problem with street lights being shot out with air rifles. This is damaging them to the point of having to replace the full light.
If you see anyone with an air rifle outside please call us. The damage is near Sophia Lane.
Our belief is that is probably not an adult doing it, but we don't have a suspect at this point. We will be setting up cameras in the area.
If you have anyone in your house that shoots an air rifle, make sure they're not shooting them outside. It is against City ordinances to fire one outside. .
We would like to see the offenses stop, so no one ends up in court, please help us
