Carthage Police find dead infant in backyard of residence

On 8/22/20 just after 4:00 we received a call from the 1100 block of Walnut in reference to a dead body. Upon arrival the officers located a deceased infant in the backyard of a residence.

The investigation is early in the process and we will give updates when available.
