According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Yamaha Star 1100 driven by Christopher A. Hammett, 59, Joplin, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting Hammett.
Hammett was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
