Jasper residents injured crashing into tree

Two Jasper residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:07 p.m. today on Highway N, nine miles east of Jasper.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1989 Honda Goldwing driven by Tammie I. Smith, 56, Jasper, traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.

Smith and a passenger, Max T. Jones, 90, Jasper, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
