Seneca Police Department Arrests

On 11/1/20, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Hwy 43/Lonnie Ln for an equipment violation. The driver, Isaac Benz had a FTA warrant out of Carthage for: Stealing. Benz was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 11/1/20, Officer Whitehead made a traffic stop for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested for DWR and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 10/29/20, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop at the roundabout for an equipment violation. The backseat passenger, Jordan Walker had 3 FTA warrants out of Vernon County, Nevada for: DWR/DWS, Speeding and No Seatbelt.






 

Walker also had a FTA warrant out of Seneca for: DWI. The front seat passenger, Deitrik Crow had a Felony NO Bond warrant out of Benton County for a Probation Violation. Both subjects were arrested on their warrants and transported to Newton County Jail. Crow was also booked on new charges.

On 10/29/20, Officer Kirby and Chief Altic initiated a traffic stop ay Hwy U/Hwy 43 for an investigative stop. The driver, William Thomas had 2 Neosho FTA warrants for: traffic violations. 1 FTA Oklahoma warrant for: Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property. The driver was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 10/28/20, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop at Sonic for equipment violations. The driver was arrested for DWR and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 10/20/20, Officer Kirby received a Public Service call in reference to a subject that had crossed into Missouri on foot with 2 active warrants. Officer Kirby found the subject identified as, Christopher Helm. Helm had 2 Felony warrants out of Fort Smith, Arkansas for: Terroristic Threatening and 1st Degree Aggravated Assault. Helm was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.
