Four Pittsburg residents injured in collision in Duenweg

Four Pittsburg, Kansas residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 8:08 a.m. today on MO 66 at I-249 in Duenweg.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Kia Soul driven by Dennis E. McDonald, 66, Neosho, failed to yield to a 2010 Toyota Yaris driven by Gerardo J. Lara-Garcia, 33, Pittsburg, while making a left turn.








Lara-Garcia and two passengers in his vehicle, Alonso Nemesio, 19, and Jean Carrera, 41, both of Pittsburg were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

Another passenger in the Lara-Garcia vehicle, Fermin A. Solano-Qwnonez, 25, Pittsburg, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman.
