(From the City of Joplin)Joplin's 4th Street will have narrowed lanes between Porter Ave. and Picher Ave. beginning Monday, November 20 (weather may delay).
Travel will still be possible in both directions, however drivers are urged to use extreme caution in the work area.
The construction is for Missouri American Water’s contractor to work on water lines below the south side of 4th Street. As work progresses, the narrowed lanes will move to the east.
