11/21/2023 While investigating suspicious activity, officer arrested a subject and transported subject to the Barton County Jail and booked for 4th degree assault special victim. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were seized and will be sent to be tested.

11/22/2023 Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Lexington for a domestic disturbance in progress. Drug paraphernalia was seized and for consideration of charges will be sent to be tested.

11/24/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of Poplar in reference to a stolen wagon. Another wagon was left in place of the stolen wagon. Investigation continues.








11/25/2023 Officer received a report of a subject acting irrationally in the 700 block of W. 8th and was gone from the scene. A short time later, officer received report of this subject intentionally striking a car, with his vehicle at 9th & Oak, then fleeing the scene. At the same time, another officer observed the suspect’s vehicle at 13th & Broadway. Suspect was arrested and transported to the Sheriff’s Office and is being charged with Assault Domestic 1st degree, Assault – police officer, DWI/alcohol and Endanger Welfare Child.

11/26/2023 Officer conducted a traffic stop at 10th & Maple St. Subject was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail and issued a Driving While Intoxicated citation.
