Baxter Springs residents injured in crash south of Joplin

Three Baxter Springs, Kansas residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:40 p.m. Sunday on Apricot Road near Antelope Road one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Nissan Murano driven by Jay A. Marshall, 54, Baxter Springs, ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

Marshall and two passengers, Jacob Sheffield, 35, and Laurie Marshall, 56, both of Baxter Springs, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
