Greenfield native receives Highway Patrol promotion

Effective November 1, 2023, Corporal Chad C. Clark was promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated the supervisor of Zone 13, which serves McDonald and Newton counties. 

Clark was appointed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol on May 31, 2005, as a member of the 84th Recruit Class. 







After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop A, Zone 10, Saline County, until July 2008. He then transferred to Troop D, Zone 13. In May 2011, Clark transferred to Troop D, Zone 3, Polk County. In March 2013, he was assigned to the Aircraft Division in Jefferson City. In April 2016, Clark transferred back to Troop D, Zone 3. On April 1, 2020, Clark was promoted to corporal and designated assistant zone supervisor in Troop D, Zone 13.

Sergeant Clark is a native of Arcola, Missouri. He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1997. Before joining the Patrol, he earned a bachelor’s degree from College of The Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri, in 2001. Sergeant Clark is married to Angie Clark, and they have three children, Wyatt, Colton, and Emma.
