09/10/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Jefferson St regarding a past tense theft. Investigation continues.

09/10 Officer took a report of a theft not in progress in the 1400 block of Poplar. Investigation continues.

09/10/2024 Officers investigated a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of E. 13th. It was found to be verbal only.

09/11/2024 Officer investigated a past tense theft at Walmart. Investigation continues.

09/11/2024 Officer initiated a traffic stop at 10th & Poplar St One person was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property and transported to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office.

09/12/2024 Officers arrested a subject at Pete’s Convenience Store on a felony possession warrant.
 
09/13/2024 Officers received a report of a person driving fast in the Walmart parking lot. The driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (felony) and Driving While Revoked. He was transported to the Barton County Jail and placed on a 24 Hold for Investigation. Paperwork was sent to the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney.

09/13/2024 Driver of a scooter was stopped on Hwy 160. He was arrested for 3 felony warrants. All warrants had a combined 10 felony counts and 2 misdemeanor counts on them.
 
09/14/2024 Officer received a call of a past tense theft from a vehicle in the 700 block of E. 10th St. Investigation continues.





 
09/14/2024 Officers received a report of a past tense theft which had just occurred in the 200 block of North Truman. Investigation continues.

09/14/2024 Officer was dispatched to Walmart Supercenter in Lamar in regards to a suspicious vehicle sitting outside Walmart Lawn & Garden with merchandise inside A male and a female pushing a cart full of products approached the vehicle. The male was searched and found to have possible controlled substance in his pocket. Drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle. Items totaling over $1500 was confiscated. Charges were filed for Stealing over $750, and Narcotics possession Except 35 grams marijuana.
