Highway Patrol arrests Joplin man for doing 138 in a 65 mile per hour zone

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested a Joplin man for going 138 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone 10:40 p.m. Sunday in Osage County.

According to the Patrol, Joseph M. Murphy, 19, was also cited for failing to properly affix plates and resisting arrest by fleeing.
