Mariachi Flor de Missouri, one of the most popular mariachi bands in the area, will perform throughout the event. Their music will unfold the beauty and power of Mexican traditions before you like a blossoming flower. Mariachi music is popular because it can make people dance with its infectious rhythms. Throughout the day there will be craft stations. Everyone is invited to make paper marigolds, sugar skulls, and paint alebrijes while learning about their significance.
Numerous national parks share Latin American heritage and the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the culture of the United States, including Cesar Chavez National Monument, Chamizal National Memorial, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, and Cabrillo National Monument. Be sure to pick up a brochure from these and many other national parks.
