Crowder College sees enrollment increase

(From Crowder College)

Crowder College announces the Fall 2024 enrollment, which shows a total of 3,956 students, an overall increase of 2.4% from last fall.

The College saw the largest increase in first-time, full-time students with a 17.3% increase, which includes an additional 20 International students compared to last year’s fall semester. Currently, the college has 70 international students from 30 countries.

“This is a testament to the collective effort and commitment everyone has shown at the college,” stated Dr. Katricia Pierson. “This would not have been possible without the efforts to reach prospective students, provide exceptional service, and create a welcoming environment.”

As a community college, Crowder provides degree and certificates that may be completed in a short turnaround, one semester, as well as transfer degrees for a student wanting to continue their education. Affordability and access are important to the college. This past spring, the Board of Trustees, at the recommendation of administration, implemented no tuition or fee increases.

The college serves southwest Missouri in the nine-county region as well as neighboring states and online. The main Crowder campus is in Neosho, with Instructional Centers in Cassville, Joplin, McDonald County, Nevada, and Webb City. The college is currently renovating a location at 3405 S. Hammons Blvd, Joplin, to expand the current programs offered at the Advanced Training and Technology Center in Joplin. Watch for opening in Fall 2025.
