1. COUNCIL BILL
NO. 2014 – 137 - AN ORDINANCE approving the contract by and between the City of
Joplin and Gator Demolition for the demolition of the structure(s) and clearing
of lot area located at 820 Grand. in the City of Joplin, Missouri, for the
amount of Two Thousand and 00/100
Dollar ($2,000.00); providing how the
cost thereof shall be paid; how the assessment thereof shall be made; and
containing an emergency clause.

NO. 2014 – 138 - AN ORDINANCE
approving the contract by and between the City of Joplin and Gator Demolition
for the demolition of the structure(s) and clearing of lot area located at 408
W. 2ND ST. & 204 S. Pearl. in the City of Joplin, Missouri, for
the amount of Five Thousand Five Hundred
and 00/100 Dollar ($5,500.00);
providing how the cost thereof shall be paid; how the assessment thereof shall
be made; and containing an emergency clause.
4. COUNCIL BILL NO. 2014-140 - AN
ORDINANCE approving the purchase of
right of way from property at 20th and Highview Avenue, consisting
of part of Lot Numbered One (1) in Kindred’s Replat being a part of Kindred’s
Subdivision and part of Kindred’s Second Addition to the City of Joplin, Jasper
County, Missouri; and authorizing the payment of Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred
Thirty and 00/100 dollars ($20,930.00) and containing an emergency clause.
5. COUNCIL BILL
NO. 2014-405 - AN ORDINANCE authorizing
the City of Joplin to enter into an Agreement with the Joplin Housing Authority
in the amount not to exceed Two Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($290,000.00)
to provide tenant-based rental assistance through the 2012 Community
Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery fund, authorizing the Interim City
Manager to execute said Agreement for the City, and containing an emergency
clause.
6. COUNCIL BILL
NO. 2014-406 - AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin to
enter into an Agreement with the Joplin Housing Authority in the amount not to
exceed Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) to provide for the repair
to Housing Authority site improvements through the 2012 Community Development
Block Grant-Disaster Recovery fund, authorizing the Interim City Manager to
execute said Agreement for the City, and containing an emergency clause.
