Neosho man airlifted to Freeman after accident, driver cited for DWI

A Neosho man was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with serious injuries following an accident at 2:30 a.m. today on Kingfisher Road, three miles north of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Chad R. Littlefield, 32, Porter, Oklahoma, traveled off the roadway, went through a fence, and hit a tree.

A passenger in the car, Chad A. Musgrave, 40, Neosho, was airlifted to Freeman, while the driver was taken by ambulance to Freeman, also with serious injuries.

In addition to the DWI charge, Littlefield was cited for careless and imprudent driving and for not wearing a seat belt.
