A Carthage man was injured in a two-car accident 5:25 a.m. today on MO 43, five miles north of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when Justin B. White, 23, Webb City, driving a 2014 Ford Focus, failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Willis Brickey, 51, Carthage.
Brickey was taken to Freeman West Hospital with moderate injuries.
