Route 96 CLOSED East of Carthage

During Evening Hours Tuesday, June 3

MoDOT Traffic Alert: Where: Route 96 east of Carthage at the Spring River overflow bridge When: 6 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday, June 3. What: Road CLOSED at the bridge to allow MoDOT crews to make extensive repairs to the bridge Traffic Impacts: Drivers will have to find an alternate route around the closing.  Drivers will be able to get to driveways and other entrances on either side of the closing.  However, they will NOT be able to travel through the work zone. NOTE: Drivers can expect one-lane traffic on the bridge Monday-Thursday, June 2-5, as MoDOT crews repair the bridge. Weather and/or construction delays could postpone the project.
