there needs to be a manslaughter charge on this ignorant or drunk same thing
ReplyDeleteThis was a 17 year old child. Lets not assume he was drunk in the middle of the afternoon or that he is ignorant. Perhaps he was distracted as a lot of today's youth tends to be. Accidents happen. This kid has only been driving for about a year seeing that he is 17. A lot of newer drivers, unfortunately, are not used to the cyclists on the roads. Accidents happen, unfortunately.
DeleteYes, this was a very tragic event, and sadly nothing will bring Billie back, but let's not make the situation even worse. The child was most certainly not ignorant nor drunk. He is struggling in the depths of his soul with this horrible event and will bear the burden the rest of his life. Have mercy. What we really need to focus on is how we can help prevent this from happening again. Maybe start an awareness campaign at the local schools in Mr. Clark's name?
