A Joplin woman was injured in a one-car accident 9:20 p.m. Sunday in Cass County on SB 49 near the 162 mile marker.
According to the Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a 2001 Chevrolet driven by Brook D. Gipson, 21, Joplin, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a guard cable.
Gipson was taken to Cass Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
