A Columbus, Kansas, woman was injured when the car she was riding in went off the road and hit a mailbox 4 p.m. today on Newton Road, four miles east of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1997 Mercury Cougar driven by Manny Myers, 22, Columbus, went off the road and hit a mailbox causing his passenger, Justine R. Beaunoyer, 22, to suffer minor injuries.
She was treated at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
