Students in the Criminal Justice program at Missouri Southern State University were recognized recently for their achievements both in and out of the classroom.
During the Honor Awards Assembly, held April 29 at the Mills H. Anderson Public Safety Center, the annual Outstanding Graduate Awards were announced. The students selected for the awards excelled academically as well as contributed to the criminal justice/law-enforcement community, whether working with clubs at Missouri Southern or for agencies in the field.
Criminal Justice Administration: Christina Wilson, Kirbyville; Tanya Kimbrough, Stella; and Zachary Schwab, Fort Scott, Kan.
Law Enforcement: Julie Anderson, Glenallen; and Daisha Warren, Pea Ridge, Ark.
The following students were inducted into the Lambda Epsilon chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the national criminal justice honor society. To be considered for induction, students had to maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA overall and in their major and must have completed three full semesters.

Also recognized during the awards ceremony were students who received a national percentile ranking of 70 percent or above on the Criminal Justice Senior Assessment Test.
