A Neosho man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following an accident 11:14 p.m. Tuesday on MO 86, two miles west of Newtonia.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1996 Plymouth Voyager driven by Barry A. Brown, 52, Neosho, ran off the roadway and struck a culvert and a mailbox.
Brown was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
In addition to the DWI charge, Brown was charged with driving while revoked, careless and imprudent driving, no seat belt and no insurance.
