Three people were injured in a one vehicle accident 9:04 p.m. Saturday on Highway 96, one mile east of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, driven by Rocksanne L. Torix, 17, Oronogo, ran off the road and struck a culvert.
Torix received moderate injuries, as did passengers Theresa V. England, 16, Joplin, and Amycity A. Nichols, 45, Carthage. All three were treated at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin,
