Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:25 p.m. Tuesday on Route P, two miles west of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Chevrolet 1500 pickup driven by Harley N. Leake, 17, Joplin, failed to yield and turned into the path of a 2012 Jeep Wranger driven by Noah M. Walser, 17, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both vehicles ran off the roadway.
Leake and two passengers in the Walser vehicle, Steven T. Gehrke, 25, Webb City, and Cody D. Updegraff, 25, Joplin, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
