Empire District Electric files Renewable Energy Standard Compliance Report

Pursuant to Public Service Commission rule, The Empire District Electric Company (Empire) has filed its 2017 Annual Renewable Energy Standard Compliance Report and 2018-2020 Annual Renewable Energy Standard Compliance Plan with the Missouri Public Service Commission.

The PSC Staff has been directed to examine the Company’s 2017 Annual Renewable Energy Standard Compliance Report and 2018-2020 Annual Renewable Energy Standard Compliance Plan and file its review no later than May 29, 2018. Any other interested person or entity has until May 29, 2018, to file any comments.

The Empire District Electric Company serves approximately 151,700 electric customers in the Missouri counties of Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Polk, St. Clair, Stone and Taney.
