A Joplin man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident at 5 p.m. Saturday five miles north of Neosho on Lime Kiln Road.
According to the Highway Patrol Report, a 1994 Honda Civic driven by Matthew J. Bilke, 27, Joplin, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees.
Bilke, who was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, was also cited for careless and imprudent driving.
