A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:50 p.m. Friday on Black Cat Road, four miles west of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Honda CBR500 driven by Larry P. Reynolds, 33, Joplin, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Reynolds was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
