Joplin Police traffic stop leads to arrest of three on meth charges

This morning at 2:24 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle at 26th and McCoy as the registered owner had a warrant.

The driver lied about his name and was arrested for driving while suspended and obstruction. 



The registered owner was in the passenger seat and was arrested for a Jasper County Warrant. Another passenger was arrested for a Joplin Warrant, a Webb City Warrant, a Newton County Warrant and possession of meth. 

The other two were also charged with drug crimes for meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia that was found in the vehicle.
