According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic driven by Ameilia C. Patterson, 18, Pineville, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
A passenger, Seth H. Godard, 18, Pineville, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
