Golden City teens injured in one-vehicle crash

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 8:30 p.m. Saturday on SE 100th Lane, two miles northwest of Golden City.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 16-year-old Lockwood boy ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

Two passengers, a 15-year-old boy and Nahed S. Gonzalez, 17, Golden City, were treated for minor and moderate injuries, respectively, at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.
