Seneca Police Department makes DWI, drug arrests

On 6/5/20, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Ottawa for an equipment violation. 

The driver was arrested and cited for: Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Police, Possession, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Expired Operators, and No Insurance. 








The subject was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 6/3/20, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Ottawa for an equipment violation. The driver, William Mayner was arrested on a warrant out of Benton County for: Probation Violation.

On 5/15/20, Officer Fort was dispatched to a C&I Driver on Hwy 43. Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Wyandotte. The female driver was give Field Sobriety, which she failed. Drug Paraphernalia was observed in plain view. After an inventory of the vehicle, the subject was arrested. The suspect was issued citations for: DWI-Drugs, C&I Driving, No Insurance, Improper Registration, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The subject was also issued a notice of revocation for her Driver’s License.
