Diamond man cited for DWI following injury accident
A Diamond man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 4 a.m. today on Route V, three miles west of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by Blake C. Drake, 20, Diamond, went off the roadway and struck a utility pole guide wire.
Drake was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
