Neosho residents injured in collision on 59

Two Neosho residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 6 a.m. today on Highway 59 at the Neosho city limits.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Honda Civic driven by a 16-year-old boy failed to yield to a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado pickup driven by Melvin J. Dockins, 83, Neosho.

Dockins and the boy were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
