According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Douglas S. Carter, 41, Joplin, traveled off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
Carter and a passenger, Sara B. Carter, 40, Neosho, sought their own treatment for minor injuries, according to the report.
