Fort Scott woman injured in ice-related crash near Carl Junction


A Fort Scott, Kansas woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash 6:38 p.m. Saturday on MO 171, three and a half miles north of Carl Junction.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Toyota Tundra driven by Rozemma D. Perry, 49, Fort Scott, lost control on an ice-covered bridge and struck the bridge and guardrail.

A passenger, Melissa H. Woolsey, 21, Fort Scott, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
