Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident 5:50 p.m. Monday on MO 39, five miles north of Mount Vernon.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Ford F150 driven by David L. Kropf, 25, Everton, pulled into the path of a 2007 Toyota Corolla driven by Kristina K. Widmer, 33, Lamar, which then struck a 2018 Jeep Renegade driven by Allen G. Rose, 63, Greenfield.
Widmer was treated for serious injuries and a passenger in the Rose vehicle, Sherry L. Rose, 56, Greenfield, for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
