Seneca, Wyandotte teens injured in accident near Joplin

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on Five Mile Road, three miles southwest of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 Kia Soul driven by Ruby L. Gilion, 18, Seneca, ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence and a tree.

Gilion and a passenger, a 17-year-old girl, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
