A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:35 a.m. today on County Road 90, three miles southwest of Reeds.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Brandon D. York, driving a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse, attempting to avoid a southbound vehicle that was partially in the northbound lane, traveled off the right side of the road, returned to the road, ran off the left side of the road and struck a fence and some trees.
York was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
