The MSSU Choral Society's annual patriotic concert will take place Sunday, July 25, 3:00 p.m., First Community Church, 2007 East 15th St in Joplin, Mo.
This will be their first concert in over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the members are excited to sing again. It also will be the first concert for Melissa Belk, their new artistic director and conductor. She had taken the reins in the spring of 2020, but the rehearsals and concerts were canceled shortly thereafter.
