Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 12:12 p.m. Wednesday on Route JJ, three miles south of Carl Junction.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Mark E. Wollen, 51, Republic, failed to yield at a stop sign, entered the intersection and was struck in the side by a 2014 Nissan Rogue driven by Roy A. Cordova, 71, Carl Junction.
Cordova and two passengers in his vehicle, Jada M. Boles, 21, and Karen S. Cordova, 66, both of Carl Junction, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
