Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:35 p.m. Tuesday on Route M, two miles south of Jasper.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Toyota Tacoma driven by Jon M. Estes, 28, Jasper, failed to yield at a stop sign and drove into the path of a 2019 Nissan Maxima driven by Angela C. Gordon, 42, Pittsburg, MO and was struck by the Gordon vehicle.
Estes and Gordon were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
